1996 a record titled "brain at risk" came like an airraid down onto the metal community of braunschweig (germany). So heavy and straight in tha face no band in here had ever been before. Lots of concerts all over germany made HEADSHOT known as the local metal band. Beneath all trends the guys celebrate their pure and heavy thrash metal und combine the music of the eighties with the sound of the new decade. Their music is rooted in the good old bay area but even sounds fresh and modern always supported with a fat groove. With their second CD they managed to conquer the states. Pavement records licensed the record for the USA. The numbers of sellings speak their own language.
In febuary 2003 they released their third album. The critics in various fanzines are good without exception and certify HEADSHOT that with "diseased" they made their best CD until now. A superfat and powerful piece of thrash.

In 2007 the band signed a contract with Firefield Records for their new album "As Above, So Below", which was released at may 30th 2008. with this record HEADSHOT reached a new level of thrash metal. so check out and listen!
After the departure of Andy Bruer Daniela Karrer is taking the charge of HEADSHOT pole position in july 2008. in the beginning of the century she was successfully working with the thrash metal guys from "Uppercut".
This year HEADSHOT is touring over germany again...
